About

Call me Jennifer, Jen or Val (old nickname that just kinda stuck). I am a budding illustrator hailing from Australia and take the greatest joy in making people laugh, sob and scream in delight with characters and stories. Preferably not make them rage, though.

And I'm just about to finish my three year Communication Design course! Who knows where the future will take me.

Game concept art, book/web/any format illustration, comics, strategy design, languages and role playing tabletop games are among my interests.

------

A big thankyou to all of you who Favourite my work. I can no longer thank each of you personally (or else I get a 'you are spamming everyone' message), but do know that I always appreciate the friendly gesture and you make me smile each time you do.
I will still continue to thank new watchers, however.

Well I've finished reading the Skulduggery Pleasant series and all I have to say is...
Thank you.
Thank you for introducing me to an amazing new series that makes me very sad that it has to end. The books were amazing and the final part in the final book had me cursing Derek Landy's name with a smile on my face. It was such an entertaining read with a story, characters, and artwork that I just adored. I'll be sure to recommend it to anyone who asks.

Oh wow you are very fast.
I am really glad you enjoyed it! I had a few reservations after the 3rd or 4th novel, but overall I think it was a powerful series. Welcome to the Skulduggery boat. ; )
And you are very welcome heheh.

I've come across your profile today when I was looking at some Grim Fandango stuff and I love the way you seem so passionate about Grim Reaper characters in your artwork. I really enjoyed this sarcastic portrayal you've made and I can't help but ask if you enjoy reading books?
If so may I recommend a non-Published series about the Grim Reaper called "Death is my BFF" by Katrocks247 on Wattpad? I think you'd really enjoy it by the way you portray characters in your artwork.
Either way, I've come to adore your amazing artwork and I'm sure I'll be looking forward to your feature works! Thank you so much for making such amazing artwork that I can just oogle at.

khjasfkjasajksf THANK YOU. I'm glad you enjoy the ridiculously exaggerated interpretation, and soon I hope to develop it further so maybe/hopefully I will have more silliness to show? That is....not a really old piece from 2010? XD

Ooooh I'm a little bit out-of-practice in reading but I am adding things to my reading collection so thanks for that!

Ahh thank youuuu for enjoying! It's my greatest pleasure. ovo

Well you can certainly draw better then I ever will! I really enjoy how you bring your characters to life with strong personalities with their actions in the pictures or the description of them in the artwork. It's so much fun to see and read about 2 skeletons who don't get along or just looking at just visuals of a long existence of work with a minor break and an adorable horse. All I can say is that I hope you continue on these amazing pictures and stories!

Oh shush. Train the drawing skill like a sport or any other skill, and you can definitely improve. ; )
But thank you! I will definitely try to make it a permanent part of my lifestyle so there'll be many years to progress ahead of me! Glad you have you around. :D

You know what? I've noticed something. Not only has it been your scientific analysis of bionicles that got me back into it, you already know we have Toa of Light OCs in common. However, now we also have Great Beings in common as I have done some art heavily influenced by your Gate to the Great Beings (albeit incomplete) story with a story of my very own featuring both my Toa of Light and a variation of the Great Beings.

Are you interested in reading such a story of mine for the hell of it? I hope I'm not coming across too much like I'm ripping you off or anything lol. I'm just wondering if you're genuinely interested in the honest work of a fan of sorts :b

Hehehe *high five for all those things*

Well I have run out of practice in terms of reading; I am a bit traditional in that I like reading on paper, rather than screen. But if you'd like me to have a read through what you've written, I am happy to give it a shot!
Pff no don't worry so much about 'ripping off'. Since it's Bionicle, I'm just glad people enjoy the glowy-tattoo-giant idea haha.

Hello. I was wondering if your story, gate to the great beings and it's following stories were all available in one compiled document?

Sadly, not yet. I haven't had the chance to compile it all together neatly. I can't promise if I'll ever get that done because it takes quite a bit of effort. I will try though! Would you be interested in PDF or would Kindle or Ebook format work better?
